Watch Repair
Keeper of Time services Breitling wrist watches, as well as many modern brands and most vintage wrist and pocket watches.. The most common cause for a watch to stop running or keep poor time is the oil on the pivots drying up from age. This is remedied with a Clean, Oil, and Adjustment (COA) service. The watch is completely dismantled, ever part is inspected for wear, and then cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner to ensure all traces of the old lubricant is removed. The watch is then re-assembled, lubricated, and the time keeping adjusted to perform as good as from the factory. All COA services will have the case cleaned and polished, gaskets replaced, and tested to insure water resistance.
It is sometimes necessary to replace worn or otherwise damaged parts. The cost for such replacements is generally noted in the original estimate, but can go undetected until the watch has been fully dismantled. Should additional parts or labor be necessary that changes the value of the job by more than 20%, the customer will be contacted prior to the continuation of the job.
